Operating instructions

PowisPrinter® Model 31 Click to see picture

This unique dot-matrix, hot foil printer uses heat and pressure to add a title or logo to your spine.  The PowisPrinter® automatically sizes the title to fit the width of your document. This enables you to easily identify shelved documents. Dock your printer to a Fastback® binding machine and add a logo or title, using the accompanying keyboard or your own computer (software included in the package).

When operated with a computer, the PowisPrinter® is a true WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) printer and will print any font on the computer, clip-art or logo (must be in the form of a monochrome bitmap) onto the binder strip.

Available printer cartridges come in: gold, silver, red, black, blue, green, white, and primer (applies an undercoat to improve print quality on certain paper stock). See FAQs for tips on using the PowisPrinter®.
