Fastback® Model 15xs

Quick and easy to use, the Model 15xs is a thermal binding system that uses state-of-the-art electronics along with our thermal plastic binding strip to create a bound document. Available strips to use with the system are the Superstrip™, composition, Perfectback™ and Speedstrip™. Covers to use with the system are clear covers,  and binder, composition, Halfback™ and wraparound covers available in the most popular colors of our strips, to ensure a perfect match. The system will bind up to 350 letter, legal or computer printout sized sheets (up to 1.5" thick) in less than 30 seconds. See FAQs for tips on using Model 15xs.

The Model 15xs is available for purchase, lease, monthly rental and rental purchase. Please consult your InaBind sales representative for the program most suited to your needs.

Features:

• Paper stays intact: no hole or drill punches needed.
• Document opens flat and therefore easier to read, up to the last page.
• Bound documents withstand more than 50 pounds of pull, due to super tough thermoplastic adhesive in the binder strip that does not become brittle with age.
• SmartStrip™ Technology. The Model 15xs reads the SuperStrip™ and automatically adjusts the bind time for the strongest bind.
• HALFback™ binding uses a two-part wrap-around cover that can be offset printed or customized with an inkjet printer.
• Perfectback™ LF, PS and TA Strips, for short run perfect binding.
• SpeedStrip™ for faster binding, up to four books per minute.
• Teflon coated heater for easier maintenance.
• Detachable cooling rack.
